MARATHON

MARATHON is a running and cycling app. You record what you do, you race friends and their finished outings, and what you record is yours.
MARATHON is free. MARATHON Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription that adds hosting group races, head-to-head history and race analysis. Everything else — racing, ghosts, records, the feed — stays free.
Pro is sold as a monthly or a yearly subscription. What it costs depends on where your Apple Account is: €4.99 a month or €29.99 a year in the euro area, and the equivalent Apple price elsewhere. The exact amount in your own currency is on the screen before you buy, and it is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically at the same price unless you turn renewal off at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in Settings › your name › Subscriptions on your iPhone; deleting the app does not cancel it.
Do not upload runs you did not run, and do not write anything under someone else's run that you would not say to them out loud. Accounts used to harass other people are removed.
Your route never leaves your account: a friend racing your ghost gets the times you ran and no places. You can delete any run, and you can delete your account with everything in it, from Settings. See the Privacy Policy.
MARATHON measures with the sensors in a phone. GPS drifts under trees and between tall buildings, and no running app is a certified timing system. Do not use it for anything that depends on exact measurement.
